The Rangers Add Three New Teams to Their Upcoming Schedules
htfield.jpg There will be several new teams on the Ranger schedule in the next few years, starting with a home game vs Logan week three this coming season. Logan will be their week three opponent in 2009 at home, and 2010 at Logan. Logan is traditionally a very strong Division II football program and should provide the Rangers with a great challenge in the coming years. Logan replaces Zane Trace who the Rangers have faced in week three for the past six seasons. Hamilton was 5-1 in that series.
The Rangers open the 2008 campaign with road games against Madison Plains and Northridge. Those two teams will be replaced on the 2009 and 2010 schedule by Chillicothe and London.

1989 Playoff Victory

Ranger players celebrate the games only score during the 1989 state playoff game.		The Rangers first playoff appearance in the school's history came following an excellent 9-1 regular season record in 1989. At that time, there were fewer divisions than there are now and only the top four teams in each region qualified, as as opposed to the top eight currently. They won their first game 2-0 over highly rated Urbana. It is the lowest scoring playoff game in Ohio high school football history. The Rangers lost the following week to Lima Bath in a hard fought game.
